Extra vitamin D is good for the immune system, and if you’ve been chained to a desk for a while it’s good to get out. Sleep With nothing to worry about sleep should become more restful which in turn will give you more energy. Exercise We tend to do more walking, cycling and swimming while we are on holiday, which increases endorphins making us happier. Fresh Air Just breathing fresh air is so uplifting, especially if you spend more of your time indoors. We even choose to go out in the rain when away from home. Sea The gentle rhythmic sound of the surf rolling into the shore is very settling in a meditative way. Memories Taking time out with people you love will always generate new memories which you can share on darker days. Laughter Now that the stress has dropped away laughter comes more easily which make you a fun person to be with! Relaxation With nowhere to go and no-one to see, all you have to do is enjoy yourself.
